How do you think can help our environment on a local level?
I believe
that we can do a lot on a local level to
help our environment. It seems to me that
if everyone made an effort, we could make a difference.
First of
all, we should look at our houses, and make them “greener”. This we can do by
using less energy and less water, for example. Moreover, we should learn to
recycle as much as possible, including paper, metal and glass. Not only that,
but we should cut down on waste, and not use dozens of plastic bags to do our
month’s shopping. We should also make sure that our local woods and forests are
respected and that the trees are preserved, and not cut down.
T o sum up,
we can make a difference at a local level. If everyone make an effort, we would
be getting nearer to solving the bigger problems of our environment.
