Many people, when they retire, move out of the city and into the country. In your opinion, why do you think this is so?
Many people, when they retire, move out of the city and into the country. In your opinion, why do you think this is so?
As a
general rule, when people grow older , they change. What they needed and wanted
as young people is not what they need and want later in life.
When people
are younger, the hustle and bustle of the city is exciting, and the wonderful
entertainment, shopping and maybe sports facilities are important. There is a
greater variety of things to do.
However,
older people think different. Peace and quite and a relaxed pace of life become
much more important, far from the high crime rate and the pollution of most
cities. For them, having lived in the city, it’s nice to be able to get away
from it all, breathe fresh air, and mix with easy-going people.
Taking
everything into account, that’s why I think so many people move to the country
when they are older.
