Nature often takes revenge for
the damage it suffers.
As I see
it, this statement is accurate. If we look upon nature’s revenge as natural
catastrophes, such as floods and fires, then we can certainly say that we are
responsible for causing many of them.
As an
example, we cut down trees without any control. This can cause landslides and
severe flooding, killing thousands of
people and leaving others homeless, it also leads to desertification in parts
of the world, destroying wild life and animals’ natural habitats. We pollute
the atmosphere, which in turn changes our climate, causing hurricanes, famine,
forest fires and much more. We pollute our rivers, which means fewer fish and
unsuitable water to drink.
In short,
nature certainly does take revenge for the damage it suffers, and it’s up to us
to see that this damage is reduced to a minimum, for our sakes and for the sake
of future generations.
