Dear Peter,
I haven' t heard from you for a long time, so i hope you are well.
Anyway, I'm writing to invite you to stay with us for a weekend on my uncle's farm.

Two of my cousins will be there and they are great fun. There are lots of things to do. We can help my uncle feed the animals and the go for a ride on the ponies. There's also a small pond near the farm where we can go fishing if you want.

I always love it when I go to my uncle's farm and it will be even more fun if you are there.
Please say you' ll come. I know we' ll have the time of our lives!

Dear Peter,

 I have just got back from a camping holiday and it was lots of fun.

My friend Ben and I went on our bikes to a beautiful forest and camped by a lake.

There were a lot of people there, so we made some new friends. The first day it rained, so we sat in our tents, told jokes and talked about our favourite football teams. The following day the weather was great and we went canoeing and swimming.

I  had a great time that I  didn’ t  even miss  playing  video games. I’m already looking forward to going back next year.
